Dear Congregational Family,

As 2007 draws to an end, each of us looks back on this past year with a measure of reflection and of lessons learned. As a congregation, we too may review 2007 as a year of dramatic growth and activity in so many areas. Our religious school and adult education initiatives have increased in scope and in depth, we have welcomed many new families into our congregation and we have hopefully touched your lives in positive and memorable ways.

As we look forward to a brand new year, many of us prepare our final charitable donations for tax purposes. If you have not done so already, I would respectfully suggest that your WJC would be a blessed and appropriate recipient of your largesse and generosity. We have done so much in this past year, and we can accomplish a great deal more with your financial support.

A new year is a wonderful time to thank God for all the gifts He bestows upon us, and never to take the blessings of health and well-being for granted. I know that your investment in the Woodbury Jewish Center will not only aid us in our good works, it will also be a tangible way to thank God for your own personal success and happiness. As you invest in us may the Almighty invest in you and your loved ones for a 2008 of goodness and life.

May you be blessed with a Happy New Year and may the months ahead be especially wonderful for your family and your WJC.

Thank you and Shalom,

Rabbi Raphael Adler
